Description to Crépy AOC
This small appellation is located in the north of the Savoie wine region in France. It is named after the 735 m high Mont de Boisy, locally called Montagne de Crépy. The vineyards cover 80 hectares of vines at an altitude of 400 to 530 metres above sea level on the south-eastern shore of Lake Geneva in the communes of Ballaison, Douvaine and Loisin m Département Haute-Savoie. Due to the proximity to the lake, there are moderate temperatures. The white wine is made from Chasselas.
