Description to Casteller DOC
DOC area for red wine in the Italian wine-growing region of Trentino. The elongated and mountainous zone includes 47 municipalities of Verona along the Adige river in the province of Trento (Trento). The vineyards are located up to a maximum altitude of 600 metres above sea level. The wine is blended from Merlot (to the 50%), as well as in any use of the varieties Schiava Grossa, Schiava Gentile, Lambrusco a Foglia Frastagliata(Enantio), Lagrein and Teroldego (max. 50%).
