Description to Botticino DOC

The zone covers 48 hectares of vineyards in the three municipalities of Brescia, Botticino and Rezzato in the province of Brescia. The wine is blended from Barbera (30%), Berzamino = Marzemino (20%), Schiava Gentile and/or Schiava Grigia (10%), Sangiovese (10%) and other authorised varieties (max. 10%). There is also a longer matured Riserva. If the grapes come from classified vineyards, Vigna can be indicated followed by the name of the vineyard.
