2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Lagrein Riserva "Burgum Novum", Alto Adige, Italy

Firm nose, black berries and a few cherries, earthy traces and some licorice. Tart, juicy, dark fruit on the palate, earthy notes, hint of tobacco, some oak, sooty traces, fine sandy tannins, light acid bite, good persistence, full-bodied, slightly muted, hint of dried meat, very good, tart finish.
