2018 Schweighofen Spätburgunder trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Slightly dried-vegetable to tobacco aroma of red and black berries with notes reminiscent of pencil wood and slightly earthy tones. Clear, slightly warm, rather red fruit, quite juicy, fine tannin, some persistence, herbal and very delicate earthy tones on the palate, nutty wood notes, not too deep, good to very good, again warm finish.
