2016 Weißburgunder dry Aus der Gewanne Strohlenberg, Pfalz, Germany
Wine Review Report
Very good (85 WP)
23 January, 2019
Cool nose, light nutty notes, fresh vegetal and herbaceous notes, citrus fruit, almonds and delicate floral notes. Straightforward, fairly polished fruit on the palate, delicately creamy, very elegant acidity, peppery traces and some yellow spice in the background, light grip, fairly persistent, hint of tobacco, touch of sage, salty notes, very slightly soft contours, noticeable high alcohol, good juicy, nutty finish.
