2017 Escherndorf Lump Silvaner VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Tart nose, light vegetal, earthy and mineral notes, still slightly yeasty, light yellow fruit, hint of bacon, fairly prominent mineral notes. Tart, fairly cool fruit on the palate, yeasty and vegetal notes, hint of bacon, elegant acidity, slightly astringent tannins, some substance and persistence, chalky and salty mineral notes, firm structure, still quite young, good to very good, tart, still slightly astringent finish.
