2016 Escherndorf trocken Blanc de Noir, Ortswein, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Light floral notes on the nose, peaches and pomaceous fruit, very delicate yeasty notes, touch of almonds. Clear, tart fruit on the palate, still slightly yeasty, lively, elegant acidity, light floral and vegetal notes, delicate hint of mushrooms, salty notes in the background, moderate tannins, overally still rather closedm light touch of egg white and bacon in the background, polished, good to very good elegant, juicy, fairly firm finish. Well made.
