2015 Escherndorf Am Lumpen Riesling trocken Grosses Gewächs, 1655, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Nose still undeveloped, prominent nutty notes, hint of bacon, vegetal notes, restrained yellow fruit, yeasty traces, light earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, sweetish, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, some root vegetables, more light earthy and mineral notes, fairly prominent acidity, light sandy tannins, becomes more integrated with aeration, some sugar candy, still undeveloped, hint of caramel, slightly rustic style, more waxy notes on a very good grippy, minerally finish with sweet and sour notes.
