Editor note: Fairly tart nose, prominent vegetal notes, very light lactic and volatile traces, light yellow fruit, floral, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, delicately sweet fruit on the palate, vegetal aromas, light herbaceous notes and floral traces, elegant, fairly lively acidity, creamy, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, fairly persistent, hint of white pepper in the background, earthy traces, some lychee, good to very good finish.

One of the eight specific wine growing areas in the Austrian province or generic wine growing area of Lower Austria. It lies to the east of the Wachau. The Kremstal, named after the river, stretches north and south of the Danube and includes the city of Krems, the more eastern areas and the small wine communities south of the Danube.
