Clear, quite firm aroma of black berries and a little cherry with some herbal, dried vegetal, nutty and peppery aromas, a little paprika and dark wood hints. Firmly knit, dark fruit, nutty, slightly toasty and tart-chocolatey wood, dried herbs, peppers and pepper, earthy hints, a touch of soot and tar, spicy flavours, good substance and persistence, fine sandy, relatively present tannin, has power and some complexity, very good, tart and spicy finish. Needs time or at least air
