2020 Landwein "Rhini", Baden, Germany

Firm, almost compact and quite deep aroma of more black than red berries with floral nuances, a hint of tobacco, juniper and cherries. Ripe, juicy, polished, tart fruit, present, very fine tannin and some acidity, persistent on the palate, moderately toasty and tobacco wood notes, a little pepper and juniper in the background, noticeable salt, some depth, very good, firm, tart and again moderately wood-spicy finish.
