2020 Pinot Noir Landwein "Jaspis Zipsin", Oberrhein, Germany

Firm, slightly smoky aroma of ripe mainly dark berries and a little cherry with earthy nuances, a touch of root vegetables, okra, hints of wasabi and juniper as well as floral and leathery nuances. Ripe, quite dense, tangy, predominantly dark fruit, slightly sooty wood aromas with some coffee grounds and dark chocolate, also a hint of liquorice in the background, lots of power, chalk and salt in the background, a hint of cola nut, coconut and laurel, still undeveloped, very slightly drying, very good, tart, slightly warm finish.
