2017 Pinot Noir Landwein "Jaspis", Baden, Germany

Clear and deep, somewhat floral and finely herbal aroma of ripe mainly red berries and a little cherry with a hint of juniper in the background. Taut, tangy fruit with smoky and very slightly coffee-spicy-roasty aromas, some acidity, present tannin, herbal and slightly vegetal aromas, a hint of black olives, persistent, has power and depth, salty and chalky tones, also some pepper, bacony nuances, becomes increasingly juicy and fresh with air, very good, firm finish with a little Mediterranean herbal spiciness
