2016 Roter Gutedel Landwein "Jaspis Unterirdisch", Baden, Germany

Slightly cloudy copper. Firm, distinctly yeasty, dried-vegetable and -floral scent with tart and cool yellow-fruity aromas, bacon, a little yellow spice and distinct minerality. Clear, lean and at the same time quite dense, fine-juicy, cool fruit, very fine, quite lively acidity floral, delicate red berry and fresh planty aromas, yeasty flavours, clear, chalky minerality, persistent, good depth, fine grip of crumbly tannin, amazingly expressive and complex for a wine with such low alcohol, has freshness and bite, very delicate chilli spiciness, tremendously animating, very good, firm, fresh, tangy finish with grip and fine bite. Delightful
