Clear, somewhat dried-herbal and a hint of tobacco aroma of more black than red berries with cherry aromas, a little beetroot, delicate smoky to bacony hints and a hint of pepper. Relatively polished, tart-juicy fruit, dried-vegetable, slightly smoky and earthy notes, fine sandy tannin, some persistence, not too deep but very well made, delicate acid bite, good to very good finish.
