2021 Sulzfeld Spätburgunder trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Bacony and slightly smoky aroma of black and a little red berries with nutty wood aromas, a hint of mushrooms and dried herbs. Relatively cool, tart fruit, again nutty and smoky aromas, crumbly, youthful tannin, a hint of chocolate in the background, a little mushrooms and hints of herbs, good persistence, chalky-salty minerality, delicate, slightly sooty bitter, good to very good, tart finish.
