2018 Nieder-Flörsheim Frühburgunder trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

A somewhat smoky, nutty, and vegetal aroma predominantly of dark berries with nuances reminiscent of sour cherries, meat juice, and iodine. Quite juicy, somewhat preserved fruit with bitter herbal aromas, slightly nutty wood tones, a hint of tomato paste, and delicate ethereal notes, sandy, slightly drying tannins, certain sustainability, salty tones, hinted oyster sauce, good, again slightly drying finish.
