The winery is located in the municipality of Flörsheim-Dalsheim (Wonnegau area) in the German wine-growing region of
Rheinhessen. A guest house is attached. The winery, which is rich in tradition, is run by Wolfgang and his son René Peth, already the seventh and eighth generations of the family. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard sites
Frauenberg, Goldberg and Steig (Nieder-Flörsheim),
Bürgel (Dalsheim), Rosengarten (Kriegsheim) and
Silberberg (Monsheim). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau, Gewürztraminer, Scheurebe, Bacchus, Heroldrebe, Huxelrebe and Siegerrebe, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir, Blauer Portugieser, Dornfelder, Regent and Schwarzriesling
The vines are cultivated in a natural and sustainable way with quality-oriented
pruning, careful
foliage management and halving the grapes by
thinning them out. The wines are vinified according to their location and variety, with long ageing on the
fine lees. Depending on the type of wine, they are matured in steel tanks or in barrique barrels. The premium line includes the dry wines Riesling Goldberg, Weißburgunder Frauenberg (barrique) and Spätburgunder Alte Reben (barrique). Around 60,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, sparkling wines (Secco) and grape juices are also produced. The winery is a member of the associations Rheinhessenwein and Urlaub beim Rheinhessenwinzer
