2021 Südsteiermark DAC Welschriesling Gebietswein trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Very slightly smoky, somewhat nutty, herbal and hinted at tobacco core fruit scent with a hint of dark berries. Youthful, still slightly yeasty, very bright fruit with cool herbal flavours, fine acidity, has some grip and good persistence, hints of fennel and blueberries, chalky tones, very good finish.
