2013 Süd-Steiermark Ried Krois Traminer trocken STK, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm nose, yeasty, vegetal and light floral notes, some white pepper, yellow fruit, hint of bacon, some soup greens, light earthy and mineral notes. Firm, tart, juicy, youthful fruit on the palate, yeasty notes, delicate hint of smoked bacon, vegetal and herbaceous notes, elegant, lively acidity, firm grip, concentrated, deep and persistent, still largely undeveloped, salty traces, some white pepper again, compact structure, fairly cool style, light spice and prominent mineral notes on a very good, firm, tart, juicy finish.
