Mature nose, pomaceous fruit with some melon, vegetal traces, nutty notes in the background. Fairly mature typical fruit on the palate, touch of nutty oak, vegetal notes, very elegant acidity, very creamy, spicy traces, good substance and persistence, slightly matt because of the prominent oak, but nevertheless siginificantly better than when first tasted, good finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Süßliche, holzbetonte Nase mit relativ warmen Aromen teils kandierter gelber Früchte. Auch im Mund ziemlich holzig, etwas glatt wirkende Frucht, feine Säure, herb am Gaumen, etwas deckendes, nachtrocknendes Holztannin, Zitrusaromen im Hintergrund, nicht allzu tief und durch das Holz auch ein wenig matt wirkend, recht guter Abgang.
