2020 Westhofen Morstein Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Still very reserved, yet immensely deep and firm, highly refined bouquet with bright, noble, cool yellow-fruity aromas, delicately herbal-vegetal notes, floral traces and minerality. Firm, again rather cool, noble, fine-juicy, densely woven fruit, yeasty to slightly nutty aromas, also somewhat herbal, intensive minerality, lasting, deep and complex, still almost inaccessible, but nevertheless already touching to the core, with tension and a very firm core, long, compact, yet very fine, tart-juicy and again very mineral finish with distinctly fine spiciness. An absolute masterpiece; needs time.
