Rather tightly woven, concentrated ripe, juicy yellow fruit with nutty and again gently mushroomy aromas, a hint of smokiness, very fine acidity and plenty of grip from very ripe, crumbly tannin that really marbles the wine, very persistent on the palate, deep and complex, compact structure, enormous chalky-earthy mineral foundation, very slightly sweet melting, gets something almost playful with a lot of air, a hint of dark berries in the background, white pepper, multi-layered, very good to long, firm and grippy finish with ripe juice. Definitely needs to mature.
