2016 Weißburgunder trocken Reserve, Rheinhessen, Germany

Fairly cool and fairly restrained nose, light nutty and delicate floral notes, some dried herbs, citrus fruit, hint of tobacco, light peppery traces, yeasty notes, light mineral notes. Straightforward, fairly polished, very slightly sweetish juicy fruit on the palate, delicately creamy, light oak, elegant, lively acidity, hint of sugar candy, sage, pepper and bergamotte, some integrated tannins, good substance and persistence, salty and chalky mineral notes, noticeable salty notes on a very good, herbaceous, juicy, delicately sweetish finish.
