2015 Westhofen Brunnenhäuschen Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Very firm, deep nose, tart herbaceous and intense mineral notes, partly candied citrus fruit and stone fruit, floral touches, hint of bacon, elegant black pepper and a hint of dark berries. Very juicy, tart fruit on the palate, very firm, lively, elegant acidity, still has a noticeable tannic grip, herbaceous and yeasty notes, deep mineral foundation, complex and vibrant, still largely undeveloped, full-bodied, but remains cool, firm bite, clear contours, extremely juicy, herbaceous and minerally on a very good long finish. Great wine.
