2015 Nierstein Riesling trocken Ortswein, Rheinhessen, Germany

Fairly firm yeasty nose, light nutty notes, ripe, partly preserved yellow fruit, vegetal and some heavy floral notes, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, lively, elegant acidity, vegetal and floral notes, still has fairly prominent yeasty notes, quite cool considering the high level of alcohol, slightly sandy, astringent tannins, lemony notes, fairly firm structure,currently still rather unapproachable, almost hard, prominent tannins on a good to very good firm, surprisingly cool finish.
