2008 Westhofen Brunnenhäuschen Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Sweetish nose, slightly soft with buttery traces, partly preserved yellow fruit, nutty and yeasty notes. Ripe, soft, creamy fruit on the palate, nutty, yeasty and light vegetal npo0tes, elegant acidity, floral traces, noticeably sweetish and creamy, full body, good substance and persistent, mineral notes in the background, light acid bite, slightly soft contours again on a very good, slightly sweetish finish. Does not appear old by any means, but is noticeably losing its contours.
