2007 Riesling trocken Alte Reben, "150 Tage", Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm, slightly herbaceous and vegetal, prominent mineral notes with cool stone fruit and citrus notes, floral traces and a lot of candy. Very ripe, sweetish, creamy and juicy fruit on the palate, elegant vegetal and herbaceous notes, firm structure, lively acidity, some tannins, touch of red berries in the background, fairly warm, persistent, noticeable mineral notes, good grip, good depth, not yet well-developed, fine bite, complex, sweetish and creamy on a very good finish. Acted almost too soft in his youth, but gaining grip and will be able to develop much longer and better than initially suspected.
