2018 Pinot Noir "Turis", Württemberg, Germany

Warm, woody aroma of ripe black berries with nutty and dried mushroomy hints as well as some bread crust. Warm, partly preserved, sweetish fruit of sour cherries and predominantly dark berries, crumbly-sandy tannin, smoky and somewhat vegetal tones, lots of alcohol, some acid bite, certain persistence, also has certain polish for all its alcohol power, just hardly any varietal character, a hint of pepper and chilli in the background, quite good, again sweetish and alcoholic finish.
