2018 Pleisweiler-Oberhofen Schloßberg Frühburgunder trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Dried vegetal and floral, malty and fatty nose of preserved mainly black berries with sooty notes, some parsley and animal tones reminiscent of bone marrow. Astringent, relatively dark, rather calm fruit, clear wood and a little covering tannin, dried vegetable, earthy and spicy tones, relatively clear minerality, the plants are quite good, but overall a little precision and freshness for higher consecrations are missing, good to very good, quite firm finish with some bite
