2020 Weißburgunder Landwein "ORANGE", Baden, Germany

Very slightly cloudy orange to ochre. Firm, nutty and somewhat yellow-spicy aroma of ripe, partly candied citrus fruits, some apricots and hints of herbs and yellow spice. Ripe, quite juicy fruit with nutty, yeasty, slightly smoky and yellow-spicy aromas, grip of ripe tannin, quite lively acidity, good persistence, smoky and a little toasty tones, vanilla and saffron, salt in the background, certain power, very good, juicy and clearly yellow-spicy finish with racoon notes.
