2018 Cabernet Franc trocken, Baden, Germany

Clear, somewhat spicy, nutty and hinted dried-vegetable and -floral scent of mixed berries and cherries with noticeable paprika as well as slightly ethereal and smoky hints. Straightforward, juicy, partly preserved fruit with some bitter-chocolate, sweet-spicy and nutty wood flavours as well as a hint of soot, crumbly tannin and good persistence, tobacco, sour cherries and laurel in the background, not too deep, salty and earthy tones in the good to very good finish
