The winery is located in the community of Randersacker (Maindreieck area) in the German wine growing region of Franconia. The traditional family has been growing wine here continuously since 1673. Today the business is run by Bruno and Diana Arnold. The grandfather Wilhelm Arnold, who gave the company its name, was a founding member of the Association of Franconian Wine Estates and Self-Marketers (the forerunner of the Franconian VDP).
The vineyards comprise ten hectares of vineyards in the individual locations Marsberg, Pfülben, Sonnenstuhl and Teufelskeller (Randersacker), as well as Kapellenberg (Eibelstadt). They are planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner (one third of the area), Müller-Thurgau, Scheurebe, Riesling, Bacchus,Pinot Blanc, Kerner, Rieslaner and Würzer, as well as the red wine varieties Domina, Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch stocked. The land is cultivated in a natural, environmentally friendly manner. This includes, among other things, planting vegetation to promote biodiversity (species diversity) and completely dispensing with synthetic fertilizers.
The wines are marketed according to the VDP classification model in the lines estate wines, local wines and site wines with Erste Lage and Grosse Lage. They are vinified in the old vaulted cellar with slow fermentation according to variety and location. The white wines are aged in stainless steel with long ageing on the fine yeast. The red wines mature in oak barrels after the maceration. Premium wines are the dry great wines "Randersacker Sonnenstuhl Silvaner" and "Randersacker Pfülben Riesling". 75,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. The winery is a member of the VDP (Verband deutscher Prädikatsweingüter).
