2019 Eichstetten Herrenbuck Pinot Noir trocken "Dreistern ***", Baden, Germany

Tart, slightly developed aroma of predominantly black berries with rather dark wood spice, animal traces as well as earthy and hints of mushroomy notes. Ripe, slightly warm, again relatively dark fruit, partly reminiscent of preserved cherries, quite present, crumbly-sandy tannin, smoky nuances and a hint of soot, powerful on the palate, hints of malty, good persistence, salt, cocoa and a little coffee grounds in the background, very good, melting and at the same time still slightly drying finish.
