The winery is located in the municipality of Bechtheim (Wonnegau area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. It has been run by Marc and Jan Weinreich since 2009. The vineyards cover 20 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Geyersberg, Hasensprung, Rosengarten and Stein (Bechtheim). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling (30%), Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Silvaner, Bacchus and Kerner, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder and Pinot Meunier. The vineyards are cultivated according to the rules of organic viticulture.
The product range is divided into the lines estate wines, local wines and site wines. Most of the fermentation takes place spontaneously with the vineyard's own yeasts. There are also some smaller tanks in the cellar to highlight the special features of the individual sites. Bottle-fermented sparkling wine is also produced. In 2016, the "Natürlich Weinreich" line was introduced with three still wines and one sparkling wine produced according to the farm's own guidelines. These mash-fermented natural wines are bottled with no additives or additional sulphur, and without filtration. Around 150,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. The winery is a member of the Generation Riesling winegrowers' association and the Maxime Herkunft.
