2021 Westhofen Kirchspiel Riesling trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Cool, polished and very bright nose with planty to fresh herbal, delicate floral, yeasty and yellow fruity notes, a little red berries, hints of black and chalky mineral tones. Relatively cool, again bright, bone-dry fruit, very fine, youthful acidity, some yeast, tobacco and again clearly chalky notes, a trace of smoke on the palate, very delicate creamy hints, good persistence and some depth, quite elegant style, has bite, very good, tart, very mineral finish.
