2021 Westhofen Morstein Riesling, Rheinhessen, Germany

Clear, polished citrus-stone fruit scent with herbal notes, some smoke, a hint of passion fruit as well as floral, delicately resinous and stony-mineral notes. Taut, tangy fruit with yeasty, herbaceous-vegetable, nutty and delicately smoky tones, very fine acidity, lots of grip from crumbly tannin, floral nuances in the background, clear, light minerality, some depth, very good, firm, tart finish.
