2020 Bissersheim Chardonnay trocken "Kalkmergel", Pfalz, Germany

Clear, youthful, delicately yeasty citrus pome fruit scent with herbal, floral and nutty hints. Calm fruit with nutty to slightly woody tones, suitable, fine acidity, floral notes, a hint of buttery caramel in the background, some persistence, hints of smoke and yeast, chalky and salty tones, good to very good, delicately smoky finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2022 bis 2024+. What our ratings mean
