2017 trocken Réserve Cuvée "Wilhelm", Pfalz, Germany

Firm, quite deep aroma of ripe mixed berries with nutty aromas and Havana tobacco, some coffee, anise, paprika and cocoa butter. Ripe, tart and juicy fruit with some chocolaty and toasty wood spice, crumbly and sandy tannin, minty notes and a hint of coriander, persistent and powerful on the palate, some ashy tones, salt, pepper and juniper in the background, some depth, still rather undeveloped, cocoa in the background, very good, at the same time warm and cool, juicy and wood spicy finish with some green pepper, leaving some bitterness.
