2017 Großkarlbach Burgweg Spätburgunder trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Clear, firm, distinctly floral aroma of more black to red berries with nutty aromas, a little dried herbal aromas, a hint of charcoal and some juniper. Tart, again rather dark fruit, nutty, smoky and dried-herbal to tobacco notes, a hint of bacon, present tannin still drying a bit, salt in the background, some nut butter, very good, quite firm, tart finish.
