2021 Ockfen Bockstein Riesling Auslese VDP.Grosse Lage, Mosel, Germany

Cool, somewhat reductive, somewhat vegetal to herbal, tobacco and nutty aroma of pome and stone fruit with slightly mushroomy hints and nuances reminiscent of pumpkin seeds. Polished, bright, very sweet citrus fruit with rhubarb and vineyard peach, lively acidity, light tannic grip, dense and persistent, some depth, hints of sage and honey, salty minerality, very good to long finish with traction.
