2021 Kanzem Altenberg Riesling Spätlese VDP.Grosse Lage, (Versteigerungswein), Mosel, Germany

Firm and deep, multi-layered, still clearly reductive, somewhat herbal and almondy core and stone fruit scent with nuances reminiscent of lavender and chanterelles. Clear, tight and juicy, cool, sweet fruit with a noticeable acid bite, has grip, dense and persistent on the palate, multilayered, hints of raspberries, mint and bacon, good depth, distinct minerality, very good to long, fine-juicy finish with tension and noble juice.
