2018 Wawern Herrenberger Riesling Kabinett VDP.Grosse Lage, Mosel, Germany

Cool, firm, reductive nose, citrus and peach fruit, hint of black berries, yeasty traces, touch of sulphur, floral and mineral notes. Fairly juicy sweet fruit on the palate, elegant acidity, light grip, floral, vegetal and herbaceous notes, yeasty notes, still veryslightly muted, mineral notes in the background, hint of dark berries, hint of tobacco, very good, firm finish. Definitely needs time to mature.
