2019 Wagram Ried Dorner Roter Veltliner halbtrocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Relatively cool, somewhat vegetal to dried herbal and slightly almondy scent of ripe yellow fruits with a hint of bacon. Quite polished, sweetish fruit with nuances reminiscent of medicinal herbs and wax, very fine acidity, candy and lemon verbena in the background, has some grip and certain persistence, slightly smoky wood spice, a hint of pepper and salt in the very good, slightly warm finish
