2019 Carnuntum DAC Ried Spitzerberg Blaufränkisch trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

A little floral and slightly spicy scent of more black than red berries with tobacco and very delicate smoky notes. Tart, juicy, again relatively dark fruit, dried planty to herbal and a little mushroomy notes, fine sandy tannin, some barrel and undergrowth on the palate, good persistence, salty minerality, bacon and juniper hints, very good, firm, tart and spicy finish with herbal tones and a hint of lime.
