Light ashy and nutty aroma of red and black berries with earthy-root vegetable hints. Ripe, somewhat preserved fruit, crumbly-sandy tannins, a bit of underbrush, mushrooms, and restrained toasty wood aromas on the palate, a touch of chocolate in the background, peppery hints, and a hint of herbs, again a trace of ash, not too deep, noticeable but integrated alcohol, slightly jammy hints in the good to very good finish.
