2007 Randersacker Pfülben Riesling Spätlese Konsequent, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Sweetish nose, ripe, partly dried and preserved stone fruit, delicate vegetal traces, hint of yellow spice, lightr mineral notesw in the background. Much drier on the palate than the nose would lead one to expect, resrained mature fruit, lively acidity, light grip, nutty and vegetal traces, good persistence, has bite, good to very good finish. Much better than the original sample.
