2011 Ried Steinriegel Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Slightly developed, somewhat tobacco aroma of ripe black berries and a little liquorice with delicately dried planty and earthy nuances. Ripe, somewhat warm dark fruit, slightly toasty tones and again a hint of liquorice, crumbly, yet slightly drying tannin, good persistence, slightly noticeable alcohol, but also acid bite, cooling ethereal traces, a hint of cocoa, earthy nuances, hints of salt, very good, tart, slightly drying finish.
