2019 Mitterberg IGT "Bsunders", Alto Adige, Italy

Clear scent of red and a little black berries with almondy-nutty aromas, a touch of coffee, mushrooms and hints of tobacco. Tart fruit with peppery-spicy tones, a little cocoa, coffee and peppery-ethereal tones, salty and very slightly smoky-bacon on the palate, has grip of crumbly tannin, good persistence, some salt in the background, hints of juniper, warm and cool elements, very good, tight, tart finish.

Editor note: Clear, quite polished aroma of predominantly red berries and a little cherry with a hint of herbs, smoky traces and almonds. Ripe, juicy, quite dense fruit, some smoky and chocolaty spice, also a little coffee, persistent on the palate, has power, melting and fine grip of crumbly tannin, relatively complex, very good finish with ripe juice and sweet-spicy flavours
